Description

What’s this about

Join us for a special project-spotlight on the transformation of a historic NYC firehouse — Engine 16 — into a fully-electric, mixed-use building achieving energetic performance through the Passive House Institute (PHI) “EnerPHit” certification.

Architectural lead Amy Failla, Passive-House Designer Ed May, and PHI-certifier Soraya López García will guide you through the retrofit process, design & modeling strategies, and challenges they overcame.
