Weatherization for a high performance built environment

Weatherization for a high performance built environment

Monday, November 3, 2025 (12:00 PM - 1:00 PM) (EST)

Description

The building envelope plays a critical role in defining a structure’s performance, durability, and efficiency. This presentation provides a technical exploration of high-performance building envelope solutions that deliver robust weather protection, extended longevity, and exceptional energy efficiency across a range of building types and climates. Participants will gain insight into the science and practical application of advanced envelope materials and systems, including air and moisture barriers, and façade technologies, designed to meet the demands of modern construction standards. It examines how these solutions contribute to improved airtightness, extreme UV stability, and enhanced building fabric protection, while supporting compliance with evolving building codes and sustainability targets.
